Our Story
Our original founder, Dave Novak, started HST in 1993.
Dave built a culture that promoted quality service over all else. He was dedicated to helping his clients at any cost. Over time, the business grew organically and Dave navigated through some of the most difficult changes in healthcare.
Our current President & CEO, Geoff Lusty, joined Dave in 2007 and helped re-shape our suite of services to meet the changing needs of our clients and the market. Today, HST services physician practices, FQHCs and regional health centers across the nation.
About Our Logo
2021 was a year of change for HST and the perfect time to revisit our branding and refresh our focus on our quest toward delivering the very best for our clients.
A personal connection to a sailboat led us to use the shape of a sail in our new logo design and branding. The most crucial function of this sail – or more specifically, a “jib” – is as an airfoil, increasing performance and overall stability by reducing turbulence on the main sail’s leeward side. What better metaphor could there be to the role we play in the relationship we share with our clients?

There is no better metaphor for what we want to bring to our clients. We are here to help and providing crucial stability and increased performance for our clients is the core of what we do.
